It is June and that means for the whole month the LGBTQ community get to celebrate extra hard about being ourselves every day! And because of that, every day here throughout the month, we are going to spotlight one LGBTQ+ wrestler. These names are not going to be in any order. So, this won’t be a countdown but more of just a highlight to celebrate.

On June 23, we are going to focus on Jamie Senegal.
Jamie is a trans woman athlete who has been wrestling for the past 10 years and both before and after transitioning. She is considered to be the daughter of the late Daffney based on their close relationship. She has wrestled her career on the indies in many promotions, most notably GCW and CZW.
Senegal has made an appearance both in IMPACT/TNA at Knockouts Knockdown in 2021 and at NWA’s EmPowerrr event in the same year.
